Solitude>Gratitude>Attitude>Altitude. In my previous write-up, I confessed that I didn’t have an attitude switch… and that if I sought “altitude,” a healthy attitude would be essential.
4ti‘tudes part II was devoted to solitude. Now on to gratitude!
I’ve found gratitude to be the true source of joy in my life. I personally have a difficult time holding onto a sour attitude and funk when I truly put things into perspective and have a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving. Happened again just this morning!
Almost universally, I’ve discovered that those in our world who are genuinely grateful, generally have terrific attitudes and achieve greater levels of success and happiness in their life.
For crying out loud, we live in United States! What an unbelievable starting point. During a recent trip to Guatemala, our team was reminded just how “set up” we are as a people group for opportunity and success. People come from all over the world to pursue the American dream. I’m grateful my seeds were planted and grew here and that I wake up every day with countless freedoms and liberties that others on our planet don’t have.
